Selecting topics for article writing and story telling competition

Article writing is taught to students from their junior school to senior school, and even at times in college also.

Story telling on the other hand is not actually taught to students, but in some academic institution, storytelling is performed for students and even some institutions story telling is a part of the curriculum and in-school competitions where students get a chance to portray their skills.

Generally, story telling can be learnt using a specific course, in some colleges when students attempt for masters in the English or another language, storytelling is a part of the course there.

Article writing is rather an easy task for students to do as it is not complicated and complex.

The key component of article writing includes, title or the heading of the topic you are writing an article about, main body of the article, and the conclusion. In this conclusion point the writer will provide a recommendation or will conclude the article in few lines that will make the article complete.

Story telling on the other hand is a way of telling a story.

When students are involved in story, they can take any story, it could be real or it could be not, in literary terms a story can be a work of fiction or non-friction.

Story telling is the capability and skills of a person to tell a story in a impactful way. Like we all talk to each other regarding our lives to our friends or family members. But when someone take up story telling as a profession, then the person uses certain skill set and tone to portray the story.

The speaker practice this by setting the right tone, the right words and the right length of the story. We all share stories in our daily life but not everyone can become a good storyteller.
